Rotary injection adapter is used for simultaneous drilling and grouting.

Functions:
It combines drilling and grouting in a single operation, thereby reducing construction cycles and ensuring optimum bond of ground and grout within the borehole.

Features and advantages:
1.If the thread of top drive is female, a balance rod is required to connect the two females together.
2.Alternative shank configurations (e.g. T38 or Male/Female) are available on special order.
3.Adapter couplers or male/female changers are also offered. The use of additional components, within the top assembly, will reduce the length of anchor bar that can be installed.

Conditions:
Choosing a suitable adapter depends on the configuration of output end of rock drill, size of anchor bar will be installed and grouting pressure.
Most of rotary injection adapters have male/female configuration with internal R, T or H thread profiles. The following table outlines various injection adapters for different output end of rock drill.
